After years of house wrap, no driveway for the winter or heat in part of the house for a winter, one upstairs bathroom, no living room for Christmas and no dining room for dinner with my family. My house is finally complete! In March of 2022 (after the passing of Chris) I decided to do an extensive remodel inside and out of our family home. The kids and I started the demo work to get the ball rolling. I hired a contractor I thought was capable of taking on this project but later was proven wrong. After a second, third and fourth opinion I learned the windows, framing, doors, plumbing and concrete were all incorrect. Wrong flooring was purchased for radiant flooring and could not be used. Retaining wall is still falling over from improper installation, but the house is complete and even more beautiful now than I pictured. So, after 3 years and 4 months I can finally say my house is done. I owe this to Dave Kahle for stepping up to the plate to make this happen. Dave and his crew are hands down the best and their work is impeccable. They treated my house like their own, was always courteous of my family and cleaned up at the end of the day like they were never there (wasn’t used to that).
